Different free space after booting

Hello everyone. Free space of my SSD differs every time i boot up my computer. For example, the last time i booted up i'd 2 gb available, now i've got 10. If i shut down my pc and boot it up again, i may have again 2 gb of free space. Does anyone have any idea, why does this happen? Thank you in advance.


P.S The OS is Windows 7.

We cant tell you anything that is certain. Best thing to do would be check with WinDirStat regularly and see what folders increase or decrease in size.

Maybe Fast startup? Try "Restarting" your computer rather than shutting down and then turning it back on to see if there is any difference. 

 

EDIT: Fast startup is not a feature in Windows 7.

That is not a feature in Windows 7. It was introduced with Windows 8.
