4k 120hz help!!

so every time I try to set up my tv for 4k 120 hz, it goes black screen, then acts like it has no output. I have to reboot, where my pc will go back to 60hz mode. Please anybody help, I've put a lot of time and money into building this PC and would like to get to enjoy it to its fullest potential.

Build: Mobo = Rog Strix B-550 E Gaming

Cpu = Ryzen 7 5800x

Gpu = EVGA FTW3 3070

Ram= 16gb Trident Z 3600mhz CL16

PSU = EVGA B5 Series 850W 80+ Bronze
