Need a new computer but currently not sure where to start

Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): so my homemade, 2002, 700w ish with the "most impeccable soldering" lost it's magic last night. No idea if anything is damaged but the PC had an old i5, 8GB ddr3, 750ti (I think), an SSD and like 4 HDD. I need to get a computer so was just thinking new ram, mobo, CPU and ofc a psu. I would like a new GPU but I think I might wait as they are a bit pricey. I plan on reusing the storage, GPU case wifi card for the short term as they aren't a necessity atm. Any ideas of what I should start with to buy a good pc (that will be bottlenecked by the GPU for the short term) needed asap apart from GPU
