Can Gentle Typhoons (mainly used for radiators) be used for intake/exhaust fans on a case?

NotAParadox

Yes, It doesn't really matter what type of fans are used where  :)

My PC:

4670k      GTX 760 ACX      CoolerMaster Hyper 412s      Fractal Design Node 804      G1 Sniper M5      Corsair RM 650      WD Red 1TB     Samsung 840 Evo 120GB

Not strictly true, but yes GT's will be just fine for intake/exhaust.

Generally if a fan is good on a radiator it will be just fine for low resistance applications.

The same cannot be said the other way around.

If it's good for rads, it's good for anything.

If you're intakes has dust filters (such as Demci Flex), then it's a great idea using them as intake fans. As they will be able to suck air through the fine filter

and have the strength to push them into the case ;)

Currently I'm using three GT as front intakes on my Air 540, replacing the Gelid Wing 12s Blue LED i had earlier and i notice there's more air being suck into the case creating a better

positive air pressure than previously ^^.

Whenever you got dust filters on for intakes, it's best to use "static pressure" fans ;)
