It just magically disappeared....

So I accidentally created a url shortcut on desktop and deleted the recent history tab that it was linked to, and now I can't delete it/remove it from the desktop because it(the url extension) doesn't exist anymore. Anyone know of a way to remove it? Moving to recycle bin doesn't work and right-click-delete doesn't work.

Refreshing your desktop will usually get rid of broken shortcuts like that. It's possible that your desktop automatically refreshed, which is what caused the shortcut to "magically disappear".

Turn it off and on again solves all problems 🙂
