Disable all custom launchers

Ensure only the home page of the stock UI is populated

Enable your custom launcher again

I don't know how to disable the launcher without uninstalling it again, but while trying to find out I toggled the permissions and it looks like that somehow solved it

I didn't install any OS updates recently, but my Galaxy A51 seems to have a second home screen now. When I close all the apps I have open, I get this blank home screen:

I removed the app icons thinking it would remove this duplicate. It doesn't even have the same formatting as my normal home screen (different app size, etc.)

When I press the home button I'm brought to my normal home screen

Currently using Nova launcher, pretty sure I'm on the most recent version of android. Sort of came out of nowhere last week.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Long press on an empty spot on the home screen, then hit the trash can icon to delete the empty page.

It brings me to this which does allow me to delete secondary pages, but not the main home page itself

Ah, it might not let you delete the one that is flagged as the home page. You might need to go to a different page and click the little Home icon to set it as the home page, then go back to the empty page and delete it.

That is odd if the blank page is marked as home but it's taking you to the other page when you push the home button. Not really sure what is going on there.

Trash icon only seems to appear for non-main pages

Yeah but unfortunately a page flagged as a home page just doesn't want to be deleted

Setting a different page as the home page doesn't remove the home marker from the blank page?

As a workaround can you drag your apps from your normal home page to the stubborn page that won't go away and delete the other page?

I'm running OneUI 3.1 on my A50 and I just fiddled around with it to see if I could replicate it but couldn't. I can delete a page that is flagged as home page, it will just set the next page as the home page. Maybe it's a problem with the Nova launcher?

It moves the marker, but that new home page is the same as the first and can't be deleted so I'm back to square 1.

There aren't any apps in this fake home page, it's entirely blank.

The settings for deleting pages are part of One UI as far as I can tell, I'd have to reach out to nova launcher support to see if there was a reason the launcher would disable that particular feature somehow.
