ram is a single 16 gigabyte stick clocked at 2333mhz? To clarify this is my current setup I have a 500g Samsung 870 evo and 8 terabytes of hard drives. I’m worried about messing up with my motherboard

It would probably be ideal to upgrade to a i5 10400F/11400F and a decent motherboard, that would cost around 250$ or so. As for the GPU, if you want to upgrade that as well, I'd suggest waiting since with the current supply shortages you probably won't really get a significant upgrade over your current 1060. If you want a better cpu you could for a 10th gen i7 or 5th gen ryzen 7 cpu paired with a similar motherboard which will cost you about an additional 100$ or so.

That would work but I wouldn't suggest getting a 240$ Z490 motherboard for an i5 10400F. A 100-130$ B560 motherboard will do the job.

I would definitely suggest sticking to the 11400F, but you don't need to upgrade your PSU, you can if you want to, but the PSU you already have is good for your system and some future upgrades. And again, spending that much money on that motherboard isn't a great idea considering that you're not getting a unlocked cpu. A B560 board will be cheaper while still offering memory overclocking, so I would suggest getting one of those, you can get it, I just wouldn't recommend doing so.
