Yesterday i built my first pc, it turned on first try and it was awesome. Today i installed windows ans it worked. However, i connected my ethernet cable and nothing happened. It says your device is connected but there is no internet access. I troubleshooted it and it says ,"ethernet" doesnt have a valid ip configuration

I've had that issue but every time Windows   I use Windows kind of help diagnostic tool it fix is it

restart both the router and the device. my wifi has this problem all the time. the best thing to do would be to assign a static IP for your device so that it doesnt cycle and have to assign a new one.
