Air Cooler for CPU

Mista G

Looking for a quality, silent air cooler for an 11400 CPU.

Not building the system till end of the month so plenty of time for recommendations.

UK, no budget really in mind as prefer a quality cooler for future CPU upgrades.

there are so many options, but paying extra for a high end cooler wouldn't make since. some mid range would be more than enough

scyth mugen 5 or fuma 2

be quiet dark rock 4

coolermaster hyper 212 black

are a couple that will do the job fine.

Thanks for the recommendations, looking for ease of installation would be a bonus.

Ease of install and futureproofing, Noctua NHD12 or 15.  (But also more cooling power than you need on an i5)

But for cheap, the Hyper 212 is tough to beat

Pretty much any will do well - I'd get one you like the looks of and will not interfere with your memory.

Scythe Fuma 2 is a good choice.

The 11400 is very easy to cool. The Phantom is a good option: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/jmmFf7/gelid-solutions-phantom-black-cpu-cooler-cc-phantom-black-01-a

The Ninja 5 may be quieter if you don't mind spending a bit more: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/product/dZ3H99/scythe-ninja-5-430-cfm-cpu-cooler-scnj-5000
