Other details : Current system is an i5-10400, Asus b460-f motherboard, 16gb Corsair Dominator Platinum (2x8), 1TB NVME SSD, RTX 3060 ti, EVGA 650P2, be quiet! Dark rock slim CPU cooler,  Acer 1440p 144hz monitor. If i were to upgrade this maybe in November- December, what would y'all upgrade?

What are your peripherals? Your PC looks pretty good. Maybe you could upgrade the cooler to a Noctua NH-U12s Chromax.

Nothing ,maybe just the CPU get i7 10700 or a good peripherals that's it honestly!

Your budget doesn't really allow for much of an upgrade aside from an i7, but if you're gaming it's not necessarily going to make a huge difference.

I'd consider upgrading your peripherals. Or get a better chair.

You can put a K-series Intel CPU in a non-Z-series board, but it's a big waste of money unless you know you're going to buy a compatible Z board later.

Basically all your parts are pretty decent but if you wait a little longer and have deep pockets, cpu and motherboard would be your next logical upgrade. But where you're at now is already pretty good.
