  • 4 weeks later...

upgraded from 1080ti to the a6000 (both blower style) and the computation boost is great but the noise of the a6000, especially when spinning at 30-60 % is much more annoying. anyone already has some info on the matter?

update from what i found out till now:

* the rtx a6000 is in size the same as the rtx 6000

https://videocardz.com/newz/nvidia-quadro-rtx-ampere-6000-to-feature-a-new-8-pin-power-connector

would maybe the water block for the 6000 fit the a6000? i am thinking about  https://www.ekwb.com/shop/ek-pro-gpu-wb-rtx-6000-ni-inox since then i could get everything from EKWB for the watercooling switch. as a scientist, i need a reliable system and did not yet meddle with water cooling with mix and match supplier parts (not to mix Cu and Al is clear ;))

* i contacted liquidextasy.de by email about the possibility of a waterblock for the a6000 - they responded today that they would design one next week and i could preorder it.

i am thinking about it, but since my workstation is in the dark base 700 case with air cooling for now and 5 harddrives (no obvious space for a tank and pump), i am not sure what kind of watercooling would fit the liquidextasy waterblock best and not give too much DIY on the case and internals.

* alternatively i contacted raijintek about the compatibility on their morpheus 8057 with the rtx a6000 https://www.raijintek.com/de/products_detail.php?ProductID=137

Hi Mavelli,

I was wondering if you got any updates on what you are doing with RTX A6000?
