Hi guys,

Not sure if this is allowed, but couldn't find it in the rules, so please remove if I missed something.

I'm the developer of the watch app Sticky, and I'm trying to gain a bit of a wider audience, that's why I made a website www.stickytoolkit.com.

What do you guys think about the website itself? How can I improve the SEO ranking? Because when I Google "Sticky toolkit", it is nowhere to be found, however when googling "stickytoolkit.com" it does turn up. AFAIK the meta tags in the headers are all complete and correct.

Your help is much appreciated!

Sticky

Using a generic, common-use word for your toolkit's name is a bad idea; it'll just make it that much harder to find, not easier.

Hand, n. A singular instrument worn at the end of the human arm and commonly thrust into somebody’s pocket.

Meta tags are completely ignored. All that matters is content relevancy, i.e. presence of keywords in the actual content. However, don't just spam the content, either. That will actually get you penalized. Just like there's really no way to lose weight except diet and exercise, there's no way to rank without good, quality content. You have to put in the work. Make sure you have good, in-depth documentation. Add things like an FAQ/support area or forum.

Also, focus on the long tail. You're never going to rank for something like "sticky toolkit". The terms are too broad and there's too much competition there. Besides, if people are searching by name, they already know you. Focus on the keywords that describe what your product does and why people would look for, use it, or buy it. Look for niches that you fill.

Google no longer search for meta tag, instead of content.

If this a new website, wait for a week or a month for it to go up the rank.

If your website is unique to that keyword, won't take a long time to go number 1.

Design of the site if fine overall. Couple of little mistakes. Contact Us -form lacks contrast between background and text fields. Top of the page overlaps title a bit. This pretty much means that you haven't tested the site's scaling.

And personal annoyance is colorful background and white text on top of it, but its not as bad as it could be. Still, using thicker font is better.
