Hey guys, RTX laptop are worth it to buy or i should just go with GTX laptop.

I don't know this is too little information to well answer anything.

 

What will it be used for? What is your budget? Does it have to be a laptop? What laptops are you looking at getting? and so on.

Considering GTX and RTX are pretty much same thing... GTX is GPUs up to 10xx series, RTX are GPUs from 20xx series up. So wasting money on older hardware or buy newer hardware?

I would have used 10-series, but I've seen newest generation to get called 300-series. The point still stands. RTX and GTX are just naming schemes for marketing purposes. GTX meaning Gaming, RTX meaning Ray Tracing.

sorry for the Partial Question.....Well, I Need a laptop so please suggest under 1200$ laptop.

As for usage, I will be using it for gaming as well as for online classes and programming And streaming.

If new laptops are Coming then I can wait few months..
