My dear friends,

If I purchase a SSD and put in external enclosure like the one on pic, what would max read/write speed will be?

It's usb 3.0 enclosure.

Please do not take offence for my apparent confusion or rudeness,it's not intent me to be like that,it's just my BPD,be nice to me,and I'll return twice better,be rude and usually I get easly pissed of...I'll try to help anyone here,as long as it's something I dealt with, and even if you think I'm rude or not polite, forgive me,  it's not me it's my BPD.

Thanks for understanding.

im inclined to say SATA 3(i think? cant tell from picture) or USB 3.0 speed, depending on which is slower (about the same i think)

but it also depends on the enclosure's intenal controller capabilities

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

the max would be 4Gb/s. the USB connection would be the weakest link

from what I see:

USB 3.0: 5Gbps = ~640MB/s

SATA 3: 6Gbps, but somehow only 600MB/s...?

regardless, they're about the same

but whether the internal controller can handle it is another story

actually the former converts to 625mb/s, and the latter converts to 750mb/s

Would it be the same speed with HDD or SSD?

Would installing an SSD instead of HDD now, give higher speeds?
