Where do I plug this?

Hello everyone.
I have a little problem. I don’t know where to plug this wire, and I don’t know what it is for. It’s from nzxt x72, and my motherboard is msi z490 unify meg. Please help.

Where did you plug your fans on the radiator in? This cable is part of the fan splitter that came with the AIO:

So simply put, you plug all the cables into that splitter cable, then you plug in the splitter into your CPU_FAN header and SATA power (for power of course).

Ah okay, this is an optional cable, in case you had more NZXT RGB devices (strips, fans, hubs, etc.).

If you don't have other NZXT RGB components, you can leave it unconnected.

This cable is described (shortly) in the manual at the very end.

So can I plug the rgb wire of the fan to it?

Please elaborate on what 'the fan' is. The fans that come with the NZXT X72 are not RGB and you had not mentioned any other fans, so I am unsure on what you mean.

Doesn't look like those fans use the same type of connector, it seems like this connector is only meant for NZXT RGB LED strips.

either way it’s no big deal i have these. Quick question how many fans can the hue 2 handle/turn on, because I have connected 7 fans to it.

Their website mentions:

Quote

Up to five Aer RGB fans

P.S. be mindful of the loose USB 2.0 front panel cable you can see in the first image (the cables with the red/black/white/green wires).
