If I pop those into a Z590 motherboard with an 11900K, will I get the rated frequency and timings out of the box?

Also, would there be much if any real noticeable difference in performance over something like a 3600 MHz CL18 kit?

I already have a 5900X that I may or may not use.  I like the Z590 boards, so I’m thinking about getting an 11900K.

Are you asking because I would get better performance out of the RAM with Ryzen?

It would be better performance overall. And yes also ram

Because he asked specifically about the z590 and 11900k.

Yes, they will perform fine as long as they are listed as compatible with the mobo.  3600 will be nearly as good though but without all the gooooooold.

But he already have 5900x though. No cpu will work out of the box with 4000mhz. Might get lucky and will work with XMP but it's not guaranteed.

I see the 11900k will go 3200 out of the box so 4000 on xmp should be possible.

I agree it's just not garanteed. 🙂 Anyway will be easy to get it working if not. I run 4000mhz on my 9700k on 1.2v

Check out the 11700k/11900k thread on overclock.net. Those with 11700Ks hit a ceiling of 3600/3733 on gear 1 (1:1). 4200mhz+ is possible when using gear 2 (1:2).
