Hi,

I’ve bought a new motherboard and processor to match the motherboard. I’ve set it all up, and turned on the power, but the monitors couldn’t find any signal... Everything inside the PC looks fine. When i turn it on my keyboard and mouse lightens up, so it have to be something with the connection between the monitors and PC. ( i tried both HDMI and DisplayPort)

What are your specs? If you have a Ryzen CPU you need a discrete GPU as well since it doesn't have integrated graphics.

The more I learn, the more I realise I don't actually know anything.

Recommendations: Lian Li 205m (sleek, pretty decent airflow for a non-mesh front panel and cheap), i5-10400f (Ryzen 5 3600 performance, 20% cheaper), Arctic P14 PWM fans, Logitech g305.

Which one, specifically? Not all of them have integrated graphics.

If it's an i7-10700 it has integrated graphics, if it's an i7-10700F it doesn't.

Should i have the i7-10700F?

Please, right click on the taskbar, open the Task Manager, go to the CPU tab, and type exaclty what CPU model is shown there.

Oh boy, long day, please ignore.

Do you have the invoice/order for the processor? That will tell you what it is (at least it should!).

I have two 8gb RAM and they’ve both worked perfect before @DewisLavid

both my two 8gbs were working fine then I put both into a new build wouldn’t display anything took one out then tried with one stick and it worked then tried the other stick on its own and it wouldn’t display again. So could be that but  that’s just what happened in my personal experience with a similar issue

@RAS_3885 what do you mean? It only says «intel core i7-10700»

Sorry, your post asking if you should have a 10700f or not made me think you weren't sure if it was an f SKU or not.

Since it's not it should have integrated graphics.

What are the rest of your hardware specs? Motherboard, GPU (if any), PSU, RAM, etc.

Where is the monitor connected to? Motherboard or GPU if you have one? Also, unless your monitor has auto-detect, you need switch input mode manually.
