So im updating my system, primarily the graphics card. I have an RX580 that serves me well but running new games is becoming a hassle even on 1080p (ultra settings)

while it usually can handle everything i throw at it, poorly optimized Cyberpunk 2077 is giving it a run for its money and runs at 30fps on average on ultra, mid-high 50s up to low 60s on lowest graphics

i dont know whether its just the game or not, but either way im looking to get a new card anyhow. any suggestions on a good upgrade that wont run my bank account dry while still being worth it?

The RX580, well, isn't the most powerful graphics card out there. CB2077 isn't the best optimized, but really you shouldn't really be throwing a rx580 at something like that, especially not on ultra lol. What's your currency, country, and budget? Target framerate for what settings, res, and games? Also, what's the rest of your rig? Right now is a pretty bad time to buy a graphics card, the market is shot to hell but if you look in the right places and have patience, you can still get a decent deal.

I am NOT a professional and a lot of the time what I'm saying is based on limited knowledge and experience. I'm going to be incorrect at times.

6700xt will launch tomorrow, if you're lucky enough to get it at msrp, good.

If not, just enjoy what you have, till the prices drops.

Not a good time to buy GPU.

I had a Ryzen 7 2700 OCed to 4GHz and a 1070, then I upgraded to a 5600X and got a good performance uplift, and then a 3070 luckily and the game finally can be played at 1440p without struggling on FPS.

running 7 2700x for my creative work
