I have a 1050 2gb (Not my main card) and I was thinking if I could mine with it in NiceHash, but if I try to mine with it I get an error, I heard about that 2gb vram is too small to mine but there are lot of videos on YouTube where people are mining with a 1050, can somebody help me with it?

Well, see what they're using...

You're basically not going to make anything significant with a 1050 though.

NiceHash QuickMiner supports and runs on all NVIDIA® 1000, 2000, 3000 series GPUs with at least 6GB of GDDRAM.

The people on YouTube probably aren't using QuickMiner.

Maybe they're using another mining software.

How old are those videos? I am not sure about Nice Hash but given the MH rate of a 1050, you are better off not doing it. You will loose money on electricity. Not sure how it translates with the current price of bitcoin but everything below a 2070 super is kind of pointless in my opinion. I believe there was a way to remove the limit but it causes errors from time to time.

i got a old 1060 i have running on the NiceOs doing about 20MH/s  and with that its about 2.50-3$ cad worth a day or so its all over the place haha but mine does pay for its own power or i wouldnt run it

and i got a 2080ti that runs if i am not playing games or need pc for other stuff and it gets 50MH/s-61MH/s and thats anywhere from 6-8.50$ a day

but something tells me 1050 is not going to be profitable if it works at all, i got a radeon hd 6870 1gb and it errors out aswell and i have not been able to get it going and i think its not enough ram  😞 but that also depends on what you pay for power as well if it works

ps. dont bother doing any cpu mining haha like maby if ya got 100 core but probly not worth it lol

You would only be making ~$0.40 USD per day if you were mining 24hr a day. AND that's if your cost per kWH cost is $0.01 USD(which is probably is not)
