that I dropped

Do you plan to inform them that you dropped it? User damage doesn't usually go well with returns...

i bought i because that i felt that it was better to get everything ready before getting the cpu you know?

Not usually a smart move

Also it's pretty uncouth to return something and get a full refund after you're the one who (potentially) damaged it.

You don't have any friends with a PC?

it was a small drop, and i have no use for it now too

If you're describing it as a small drop, it's fine as long as it was powered off. Think about the kind of abuse laptops used to go through daily or just how many times the drive has already been thrown as hard as humanly possible during shipping.

I'm assuming there isn't even cosmetic damage?

i've had indeed tried it before on another persons computer but they hadnt turned it on in about 2 years, and its his roommates computer and when i plugged in the hard drive it sounded like a normal hard drive, but since it wasn;t turned on in such a long time, windows was super slow and we don't know the password
