Looks good. If you are very picky on how fast a game loads from your HDD, make sure that your HDD has a RPM of 7200, not 5400.

Having an HDD with 5400RPM will make games load very long, so do make sure that the HDD you're getting has a speed of 7200RPM.

Was looking at SSD rather than HDD for game storage. Would i still have the longer loading times with the SATA-III SSD mentioned?

Oh my bad, I read that wrong, I thought it was an HDD.

Load times will be significantly faster if you use SSDs compared to HDDs. So no, you will not have ridiculous long load times.

I also went with a modest CyberPowerPC MasterLiquid Lite 120mm ARGB CPU Liquid Cooler with Dual Chamber Pump. Hopefully I shouldn't have any issues with cooling with a single fan radiator?

Those are generally not much better than a decent air cooler, with a far greater chance of failure.

If your liquid cooler only has one fan, then I see no point in getting it. You can get an air cooler and it'll perform as well as the single fan liquid cooler.

If you can increase your budget, a double fan liquid cooler like an NZXT Kraken X53 or a Corsair iCUE H100i RGB PRO XT would be ideal.

Far greater chance of failure as in while operating?

You have more points of failure compared to a tower air cooler, like the pump, etc for not really much gain.

If you care how fast your games load, or how fast your system is in general, you get an ssd, hdd's are pretty obsolete except for mass and long term storage

If you're not overclocking, no point for the z motherboards as youre just spending more money for nothing

the cpu is a 10400-f so he won't be doing any overclocking, but having a good motherboard leaves a path for upgrade.

upgrade to what exactly? hes not overclocking.

what I mean is the CPU is not a K sku, he won't be able to overclock no matter the motherboard. What I'm saying is having a good z490 motherboard leaves an opening to get a better 10700k or 10900k in the future for cheap, sure you don't need a Z490 board to upgrade to those cpu's, but what's the point if you don't.
