Hi,

 

Is there any SSD with MLC using PCIe 4.0?

Current setup:

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X - Motherboard: Gigabyte Aorus B550 Pro (V2) - GPU: EVGA GeForce RTX 3070 FTW3 ULTRA* - RAM: 2x8GB (16GB) Crucial Ballistix Sport LT White 2400MHz - PSU: Seasonic Focus GX-750 - Storage: WD Black SN850 1TB + Samsung 860 EVO 500 GB - Cooling: be quiet! Dark Rock 4 - Case: Phanteks P400A ARGB - Monitor: DELL 27" S2721DGFA - Mouse: Logitech G Pro Wireless - Keyboard: Logitech G915

SSDs are good enough these days that TLC (3 bit MLC) is perfectly reliable for a datacenter.

If you want good sustained speeds just find a drive with a large SLC cache.

If you want good reliability buy from a well known brand, like samsung.
