Used 1080 Ti??? Need Help

Hi, can I get some help?

Rn i have an RX580 and want to upgrade it, in my country (Indonesia) the new line (rtx 30 & rx 6000) are being scalped or sold with only 1 pcs in store. I mainly do some games (mainly Ascreed titles) and some blender/davinci resolve editing. I saw some used gpu like 1080 and 1080 ti are being sold at approx. 500-600usd, while the new rtx 3060 (non ti) are being sold at approx. 800usd-1000usd or being sold at msrp but need to build a new pc (bundle).

 

Do I really need to wait for the gpu stock to be normalized or just go for the used/new one or just straight to build a new pc? i dont want to build a pc rn because ddr5 is around the corner and leave me with no big upgrade path

the 1080TI is still a decent card but i wouldnt pay 600$us for it 400 is a good price otherwise look for a used 2070 or 2070s

No, my suggestion is to wait till the mining bubble burst.

You will find those 1080 (or even 30 series) dirt cheap.

Your RX580 can still do great in those task.

Not the right time to buy GPU, even used GPU are 50% more expensive.

Well that is the price they are going for so complaining about it and saying it should be cheaper is one thing. 
I’d just buy the card at what ever price it is to get something new. 
waiting on something to happen with crypto isn’t smart as the price has done nothing but go up. The only difference is as they get ahold of more new cards, more old ones will become available.
