Hey there! Warm welcome to the forums.

 

If by "like Reddit," you mean, a forum platform in which members can contribute to a discussion and "upvote" (react to) to posted content, then yes. The LTT forum generally focuses more on positive feedback and encouragement rather than on punishing poor/inaccurate information or breeding negativity/personal drama, so "downvotes" areeen't really a thing here.  And memeing or derailing from the main topic in serious discussions outside of Off-Topic is usually considered poor form.

 

Atmosphere here, as I understand it, is simultaneously more helpful, laid-back, and friendlier than Reddit. We like members that provide genuinely useful and positive advice. Mods here are chill, fair, and easily-approachable; if moderation is involved in a thread, status update, or other thing, OP (and others involved) will be given a rational explanation behind whatever decisions the Mods made.

 

We have a couple'a informal clubs/gangs/hardware cults/secret societies around here. Poke around in the sub-forums to find 'em.

 

And... Den owns the forums. That's all.
