Still unable to reliably edit in quotes

Browser, version and OS: Android 10, Samsung internet 

 

 

 

What happened? editing in quotes, especially when they're on a different page is nearly impossible. 

 

And *if* I manage to do it somehow (it sometimes works sometimes doesn't, and basically *never* works as it should) I can't write under the quote at all. Enter just doesn't work. 

 

Same issue with pictures btw (randomly) 

 

 

Also *very* often when I edit something, it simply tries to make a new post anyway (with the edited post) 

 

 

What did you expect to happen?

 

That it just works. I guess?

PS: just to make this specific issue clearer, there should be a cursor under the quote, automatically, but in most cases there just isn't and I haven't found a way to make the cursor show up either, although it randomly seems to work once in a blue moon.

Put a new line below where you want the quote to be before you insert the quote.

Ok, I'll try, thanks. that might be why it sometimes work "randomly".
