Does Cpu noise really matter while mining

Currently I mine on a rtx 3090. Everyone always says how noctua Cpu cooler are way quieter than stock AMD coolers. Would replacing my CPU cooler really make the system quieter with gpu fans at 75-85%. Also would it make a difference if the gpu fans were at 30%?

Do you hear the cpu cooler when mining or idle?

If the cpu is under low loads, that cpu cooler should be silent.

Is the mining PC near you? Then it may.

It depends on load and your current cooler. If you have like a 3900x on almost full load, Obviously it would. Getting something like a d15 to replace a stock cooler would make a huge difference in noise if you care about that. If you're using an FE card, even at nearly 100% rpm maybe, as those are pretty quiet cards. Do you even care about noise though?
Setting you gpu fan speed to 30% at full or near-full load while mining is a good way to get it to thermal throttle, but I guess it would be quieter.

Any decent cooler will be quieter than the stock cooler.

Is the noise really from the CPU? Considering you're mining on the GPU, you're more likely to be hearing said GPU's fans.

As for your title... No, it does not matter for mining. Temperature does. If the stock heatsink is good enough to keep temps moderately normal, even if it were a jet engine's sound level with a Delta fan on it, it would be fine. Noise =/= temperature.
