Hey there.

i got a Devro Tyfring v2 and I was wondering if its hot swappable or if there's anyway I can find out?

I think the the DREVO Tyrfing v2 is hot-swappable. TaeKeyboards removes a few switches in this vid, without any desoldering (Timestamp: 5:44):

The board uses Outemu mechanical switches, and I wager those are Outemu hot-swap sockets on the board, however. Would like to note that Outemu hot-swap sockets have reportedly poor compatibility with non-Outemu aftermarket switches (Cherry MX, Kailh, Gateron, etc.).

If you'd like to confirm for yourself, you could disassemble the board down to its PCB, then check the PCB's underside for any solder joints (or the lack thereof).

...You could also, er, attempt to rip out the switch from the socket, but I really wouldn't recommend this unless you're pretty certain the board is hot-swappable. If the switches are soldered in, and you forcibly rip them out, erm... If you're lucky, nothing's damaged and all you need to do is to solder the switch back in; if you aren't lucky, you might've damaged the PCB. 😅
