  1. While some DDR5 chips are already in production, neither Intel nor AMD have officially announced support yet. Taking a guess based on rumors and leaks, I'd say sometime in 2022. 
  2. Prices won't be available until DRAM manufacturers officially announce new SKUs to coincide with the major CPU manufacturers supporting the technology. In other words, we don't know yet.

DDR5 is expected to come in Q1 or Q2 of next year. Whether that will be the case or not I can't say for sure. These are the rumors at least. Regarding pricing, pretty much as always when something new comes out it will be way more expensive than the current gen DDR4. We say this when DDR4 replaced DDR3 and when DDR3 replaced DDR2. In the beginning, for the first 6 months they were quite expensive and availability was poor. Not really worth it jump on the DDR5 wagon right in the beginning.
