Tbh depending on your needs it might be cheaper for you to use an online service as your rendering farm.

i think you misunderstood i just wanted a case

How many slots do you want? What board do you plan on using?

Most eatx high airflow cases will work fine here. Something like enthoo pro 2 is what id get.

Also really depends on your board and how it places your gpus.

They will all run pretty hot and loud though.

What motherboard are you usuing? you didn't say that anywhere.

THe amount of slits depends on the board and the pcie spacing.

So no you didn't answer all of those questions.

i can split the x16 slots via a databord or a adapter so they both run at x8 speed

what board are you using for that?

THat would also mean that you can't just use a normal case, and would need a lot of custom work.

Id just get a board made for 4 gpus, and with 10gbe onboard.

 how about this guy https://www.supermicro.com/en/products/motherboard/H12SSL-CT?

Do you have that cpu already? Id really suggest you go with a 7002 chip, as there much better in basically every way, and about the same price. Things like pcie support has been improved a lot and numa is much better too

But how about this board then. https://www.asrockrack.com/general/productdetail.asp?Model=ROMED8-2T#Specifications

What gpus are you using?

Its gonna be hot and pretty loud no matter how you set it up.

What compute porgrams are you doing? i wouldn't do a 4 gpu build unless you already running high end gpus, id try to start with a single 3080 and add gpus from there.

Also make sure you get dual slot card, lots are really 3 slot cards.

Also you want blower cards here.
