GTX 1660 Fan Curve issues

I have a Gigabyte GTX 1660 in my system and it's fan curve really annoys me as it engages at 50C. This means that my machine when not completely idling is usually using the GPU to watch videos or sometimes transcode the temp creeps up to 50C and then the Fan kicks in at 1400RPM for approx 30s which brings the temp down to 45C and then it gradually climbs over maybe 2-3 mins and starts all over again. It's not loud, I can only tell using OCCT but I am worried the constant cycling on and off (My machine is on 18hrs a day everyday) will kill the fan, which will likely kill the GPU and as GPU's are likely irreplaceable (Well for less than 3x MSRP from some dodgy scalper) for the rest of 2021. I dont want to run Afterburner constantly as I have enough process running using up ram as it is. IS there any way to actually adjust the nVidia Bios so I can stop this happening?

I am not sure if you can edit Turing card bioses yet. Your only option is MSI Afterburner.

Your only real option is Afterburner which really doesn't use much RAM like you seem to be worried about. Between it and RivaTuner I'm reporting about 5MB.
