which one is better for after effects

intel + nvidia or amd + nvidia

Depends entirely on which specific Intel or AMD CPU you're comparing.

Also depends on the price, as the regional pricing can vary.

There is no "one size fits all" answer to this.

If you are looking to leverage CUDA acceleration when editing, you pretty much need the best graphics card that you can afford.

8088 - Pentium 3: Intel

Pentium 4 was trash, Athlons were better.

When Intel's Core architecture came out, AMD was garbage.

Bulldozer was absolute turd.

Ryzen 2 started changing the game, AMD looking better.

Now that AMD is better, they all of a sudden think they're hot sh*t and raised prices.

Intel started to look like a bargain.  The leap frog game continues.
