just wondering as im slowly planning a upgrade, so want to know if i need to consider a PSU aswell :)

 

got a Corsair TX750

Yout TX750 will do the job. As long as the PSU is of decent quality you can use it for about 5-7 years.

Age limits on a PSU? does it get old?

All reputable manufacturers should have a MTBF in the product description, or on their website. Maybe look at that?

I got my HX1000 working for 8 years now... still going strong
