Limitations set by the manufacteur? Probably some. But not all.

just wondering as im slowly planning a upgrade, so want to know if i need to consider a PSU aswell

don`t even think about it. don`t change psu

Yout TX750 will do the job. As long as the PSU is of decent quality you can use it for about 5-7 years.

All reputable manufacturers should have a MTBF in the product description, or on their website. Maybe look at that?
