Photoediting/gaming pc

Hi!

 

I got an i3-10100 and an MSI B460 tomahawk mobo basically almost for free.

What other components should I build around it?

 

I mainly do casual gaming and photo editing.

I want to add these:

PSU: Corsair CX-550-m (80$)

RAM: some random 2.666mhz 16gb ram(later i want to add 16more) (90-100$)

 

From my old rig i have a gtx 960 for now.

Maximum i want to get a used 1070ti or 1660 super which is around 400$ - (yeah im screwd) - or something in that price range.

I have am ssd and hdd and case already.

I want to get a cpu cooler too(max 40-50$) and if it fits to the budget the aesthetic is white-silver.

 

Can you recommend some specific options or better one from what I planned in that price range?

The stock cooler would be fine on a 10100, also I'd consider faster ram (CL # matters a lot too, lower is better)

You could go with Crucial Ballistix 3000 or 2666 MHz RAM. 1660 super/ti would be probably a better option.

get the cx non-modular. cheaper and better.

rest of the plan sounds good. don't get faster ram than 2666, you can't run faster than 2666 on b460 anyway.

wait until gpu prices o down, use your 960 until then.

Actually the modular/non modular priced the same in my country. Thanks for the help!

The non-modular is better quality
