Can anyone reccomend a pair of speakers for my gaming desktop?

I would like to keep budget under £100 and also would like the ability to connect phone via Bluetooth, would prefer 2.0 but would consider 2.1

Many thanks

Bluetooth 2.0 is quite an old standard. Any version of Bluetooth should be backwards compatible with older versions, If my memory serves me. The Mackie CR-X 3 inch powered monitors are a good pick, or the Edifier 1280DB Bluetooth if you don't like the green.

Thanks but just to clarify when I said 2.0 I meant 2 speakers, 2.1 I mean 2 speakers and sub woofer, I wasn't referring to the Bluetooth standard.

okay, that makes more sense. You could try the klipsch promedia 2.1 THX, but those don't have bluetooth, and you're sacrificing some sound quality to have a subwoofer. for 100 euros, you don't really have too much leeway to purchase things such as subwoofers.

Why not go used.

You can go to a thrift store and buy a stereo receiver for like $20-$50.  A pair of speakers for about the same price.  Then you can get yourself the Bluetooth 3.5mm to rca adapter from Amazon for another $25.  You'd have a lot more flexibility with the placement as well.
