What PSU?

Hey guys, i just got €50 to upgrade my old bad psu, the only thing is that i don’t know what PSU is good for €50. Anyone with ideas?

I got a 600w psu for $20 at best buy, take a look at your local stores, they might have a really good deal, or a really bad one, its really hit or miss with local retaliers

Idk bout that man, i don’t want my pc components to die. So i’ll just spend the 50 bucks

600w evga bronze i think, my case covers it so i cant look in and i got it years ago, ik it was pure luck, i dont think they knew what is was worth and just wanted to get rid of it, the store was in a very low location and prob didnt have alot of tech people, pc components were like half an isle

nah it was a good evga unit, im just saying, stores will have good sales on weird stuff like PSUs, usually they have no idea what its worth

Without knowing the exact model it's useless information. EVGA got really bad units.

I'm pretty sure a major retailer like a Best Buy isn't just throwing away items for chump change due to "not really knowing what they had". 

 

They don't stock things that aren't on their sku lists, and purchased by an inventory control person who is directed by corporate.

 

So you either bought an open box or returned item, which you should specify.  Otherwise your post has no proof and holds no water. 

 

OP, go with the recommendation for $50 or search for an equivalent unit around town for similar pricing.  Don't gamble or waste time looking for some $20 magical PSU to appear.
