how to drain hard loop?

Go to solution Solved by Letgomyleghoe,

turn it so the fill port is the lowest point and open it up over a tub. without pics I can't offer anymore advice.

Holy cow do I feel stupid, I upgraded my PC and in the process went from soft to hard tubing. I tested before it was put all together. Every thing worked. I did have some trouble with the mobo with posting but got it working. Built it all. Got into bios to configure the pump (it pumps faster than it's needed), anyway paused for the night. Next day went to install the OS. Lights and fans all turned on but no post. Tested everything but the CPU. So now I have to drain the loop. However everything is in the way. I completely forgot about draining. How do you drain hardline? I've got a port right at the top of a distro board which I used to fill it.

Yeah actually that sounds perfect. I'll take out as much as I can and hook up some old softline and bend it straight into the tub. Then pour

For future, you may want to consider plumbing in a drain port using a T-splitter and a ball valve somewhere out of sight so that you can drain easier.
