Hi all so i have a problem whit Newegg, i have purchased some G Skill Trident Z Royal series 32gb 2x16gb and payed 452.98 cad from newegg.ca but decided to return them for a refund since my asus hero z370 is not compatible whit xmp 2.0 so they send me an rma label which they charged me 34.86$ plus restocking fees of 57.90$ and now the total of what they want to refund me is 351.03 cad so i lost more than 100 $ here the item is new in the box, i mean this ain't right i never had any problems whit Amazon Whats going on here ???

https://kb.newegg.com/knowledge-base/return-policy-2/ according to this the fees are for restocking and for shipping (tracked and probably using courier service). So nothing really special there.

well there's your problem you didn't say it was broken when you returned it to newegg.

even amazon you charge for shipping and sometimes restocking if you send it back saying you just don't want it anymore

ALWAYS say its broken/defective/INOP anytime you return anything to any online retailer, when it's broken there is no restock fee and most will wave shipping.

I'm not saying lie or anything or break the item on purpose i'm just saying what the average company return policies are.
