How to clean Dell Precision m6600 GPU fan?

Hello, (sorry if i'm posting this in the wrong post) but i need to clean my GPU fan, or the space between the fan and the grids or whatever, and in the videos that i've seen it seems that i need to remove the GPU heatsink to clean that section, is that true? thank you in advance

Best way is to remove the heatsink, but you can get most of it with compressed air.

Another question, do i need to apply thermal paste every time i remove cpu/gpu heatsink? or i can just put it on again (i don't have thermal paste that's why i ask)

if its dry you really should.

But I wouldn't take the heatsinnk out to clean if you don't have thermal paste.

So even if the grids of the GPU fan are covered and the hot air can't go out i shouldn't clean it if i dont have paste

Could this paste be good for the CPU/GPU? https://gyazo.com/7a5ded202fde360a59202bdcec8df924 or any paste could be good for the Dell Precision m6600

you dont have to change the paste unless you take the heatsink off.

yea any normal thermal paste will work fine.

but have you tried taking the bottom off yet and using compressed air?
