He will not EVER overclock by the way.

You could probably buy one of those new Corsair Carbide SPec cases to save come money on the case and use to get faster Ram or something.

Maybe a microatx, they tend to be cheaper and you can make the case smaller with it if you want, so he has a great might rig

I think its a pretty solid build...and if u plan on going with asus mobo nd i would recommend u indeed go with asus... ...go with h87 coz he is not gonna overclock asu said...so u dont need that much memory speed support...have a look at this....
