Yes, it will work fine. You can use an AMD GPU with an Intel CPU or an AMD CPU. They aren't specific to one type of processor.

I'm using a i7-8086K + AMD 5700 XT in one system...

 

The Intel + nVidia, and AMD + ATi / AMD thing is a complete myth / fake rumor.

Yes, of course. 

 

You know Intel and Nvidia aren't the same company, right? Intel doesn't make discrete GPU's (yet). They don't care what graphics card someone uses with their CPU's.

It all works. AMD is the only company that theoretically could try to lock people into using only their CPU's and GPU's together because they're the only company that makes both CPU's and GPU's for desktop, and they aren't dumb enough to try to do something like that. 

Corps aren't your friends. "Bottleneck calculators" are BS. Only suckers buy based on brand. It's your PC, do what makes you happy.  If your build meets your needs, you don't need anyone else to "rate" it for you. And talking about being part of a "master race" is cringe. Watch this space for further truths people need to hear.
