how to tell if cpu works without the motherboard

im trying to resell 14 cpus i got off ebay for there normal prices is there a way i can tell they work if i dont have the correct socket for them

You need to install them in a motherboard and fire them up to know if they work or not.

Selling them as giving full refunds if the CPUs don't work.

I am still TechWizardThatNeedsHelp, just less of a mouthfull.

ALWAYS REMEMBER: FULL SPECS IN A TROUBLESHOOTING QUESTION AND TO NOT BE A DICK IF SOMEONE CANT FIGURE OUT THE ISSUE
