I want to monitor my RAM frequency on my desktop, preferably as a widget. Is it possible?

BaidDSB

Basically my Motherboard is having trouble with XMP so my ram has to be manually clocked. Thing is the manual timing stopped for some unknown reason and my ram was running at 2133 instead of 3000 mhz for god knows how long. i never noticed it until i entered the BIOS today for some reason.

Now im looking for any Rainmeter or HWMonitor ish widget that shows my RAM frequency like it shows in task manager. I dont want to open task manager everytime so a quick glance at the desktop widget would help.

Is there anything like this?

This is not a unique issue. XMP causes more issues than it solves.

Then why worry with it?

I believe https://www.hwinfo.com/ will allow you to run just the monitors in a tray-resident style.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

Because 2133 vs 3000 is a 5+ fps difference in RDR2. the difference is VERY noticeable. And then i became paranoid.

just use gpuz, I don't think there's a "widget" but it'll show you ram speeds. Spoiler : system ram speeds shouldn't change at all, it's usually static.
