Displayport 1.3 should be compatible with 4K 144Hz max.:

Displayport 1.4 doesn't have enough bandwidth for 4K 144Hz natively. You need to look out for a monitor and a GPU that both support "DSC"  (Display-Stream-Compression) to be able to run it.

 

Any RX5000/6000 or RTX 2000/3000 GPU will support it.

And for the monitors you have to look at the specs and if they use DSC. For example the LG 27GN950-B does.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Yes it has DSC. And it's overall one of the best monitors on the market:

The monitor includes 1 DisplayPort 1.4 cable in the box.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.
