First build and nightmare situation.

So my first build lights up and turns on, fans spin and all looks good but unfortunately there's no output to my moniter. 

I've tried general things like reseating ram, using one stick, reseating gpu, loosening mobo screws checking connections, using hdmi and dp in gpu and mobo... still no output.

 

Please help, anything will be appreciated, I'm panicking.

Crucial P1 nvme m.2 ssd 500gb

just checking off some basic stuff.

you remembered to install an OS right,

and the settings on your monitor were set to specifically use the input cable you tested with? as in when you used display port from gpu to monitor the monitor connection was selected as displayport.

can you get into the bios?

Did you connect the display to your 3070 and not the motherboard?

I haven't installed a OS yet because I can't access the bios. My moniter is on the right channel but shows no input.

Yes I tried that first and no output.

Also, speaking from experience, are you sure your monitor works? have you tried it on another pc?

Ofcz not, beacuse there is no iGP in that CPU, maybe try with another GPU.. something like a gt 710 or what ever ghe gpu you have lying around..

Are you getting a bios failure sound or something? Does the screen output resolution and refresh rate match the resolution and the refresh rate of of the monitor? And first, are you sure the monitor works? Is the cable working?

This has happened to me a bunch of times, ("dumb computer", fans spin but no display output) it mostly had to do with:

 

- GPU not fully inserted (but you've ruled that out)

- CPU not properly installed (or dead)

- RAM not properly installed (or dead)

- CPU/RAM not compatible with board or BIOS version

No, but I dont have a speaker

The beep would come from the Motherboard itself...
