Intel® Rapid Storage Technology

In my I7-3770 Desktop's bios, the default setting for Intel® Rapid Storage Technology is turned off. I have a 480 GB ssd and 1 TB WD Harddrive. Would turning on this option in the bios make any performance difference?! Does any special settings have to be made one it is turn on in the bios?! Or does Windows 10 automatically take advantage of Intel® Rapid Storage Technology?! Would it make a difference in videos and gaming?!
