Experience with the ASrock B550 Extreme4? Good or bad? Or solid?

The title says it all. That being said, Memory QVL/Ram issues. Have they persisted?

Extreme 4 is a lower tier motherboard and always has been.

I had one in the past that dropped 2 memory slots. So this line up I stay away from.

Dropped? do you meant they never worked, haven't worked?

Yes they stopped working completely. Wouldn't see the memory. I no longer have the setup. 

 

I'm not saying this board won't work for you, just sharing a past experience with the model from that brand.

the RGB software and Appshop Apps that come with ASRock Motherboards are very buggy, featureless, and have a quite ugly interface, so if you have RGB, I'd maybe get some different software
