I just sold my monitor, looking for a new one, what should I pick?

Hi everyone, some time ago I bought a 144hz monitor, actually one that linus recommended, the sceptre monitor, but the 27inch version 

So I just sold it yesterday with a little but of profit and i wanted to get the next year version which changes for an ips panel and some other features

 

But I've been wondering around looking for displays and other things 

 

I'm from Mexico and availability is one thing, my budget is 6800 mxn which is roughly 345 dollars, tops, literally I have no job and no other money income right now

My brother says stick to a 24 inch but I liked the 27 inch size, also I loved 144hz even if I don't run it in every game, on the desktop felt amazing

Also, post a relevant title too.  Telling us you sold your monitor is neat but doesn't invite people to come help you.

 

Does no job mean you can't come up with anything more than $345 if we recommend a better offering?

 

What are the specs of your system?  Can you run a 1440p 144hz monitor well?  Or do you need 1080p 144hz?

I'm currently running a R7 2700X with a 5500XT, not the strongest but gets the job done.  I play mainly rocket league, lol and some other titles, also j stream hotel games so the hdr option seems interesting

No job means exactly that, my parents take care of me but have never ever gave me money

1080p 27 inch is fine if you are not 1 inch away from your monitor. Rocket League doesn't need the extra pixels, neither does LoL. That's my advice, should save you some money and frames.

Lol, anyway... decent system you have there.  You should be okay with 1440p 144hz for what you play, tho I am unsure what a "hotel game" is?

Apparently there are quite a few horror stories about this monitor. Many people have had it die for no reason after a couple of weeks/months. Colors are washed out, and a lot of ghosting. It just sounds to me like a panel being driven way out of spec. But that should be expected from something this cheap.

The one I'm inclined right now for is a 1440 75hz, the LG one 

Since at 1440 i wouldn't run any more from es currently, I think is a best choie.   What I'm curious is about the HDR support it has

It seems to be pretty good. And since you have a 5000 series IIRC it supports up to 12 bit colour so it would work in that regard. I would still recommend buying it somewhere where you can return it in-case as it's hard to tell how good a monitor is unless you see it in person.

Strong point there 

Sadly the hardware shops here are not good generally so most of the good stuff is online or imported

FREE international shipping: Saturday, January 16. (I assume that is when it would be delivered)
I wasn't able to find anything about returns but if standard amazon returns apply then you can return in 30 days. But since you are a native speaker i think you will be able to find it with ease.
