How far can I oc with a Wraith spire?

CPU - Ryzen 5 3600

 

Hi all, 

 

My question is; How far can I expect to oc an R5 3600 with a wraith spire, within reason, i.e. not extremely loud or running at 90c under load...

Just like any overclocking, start small and slowly work your way up to where you are comfortable at. I don't know exactly how much you can overclock it as that depends on the cpu most of the time.

Id probably just turn on pbo2, and let it boost a bit higher, instead of manuall overclocking for most uses. And in general ryzen wont' overclock much.

 

But this si something that really depends on the exact cpu you get, so just play with it when you get it.

If it helps, my 3600XT boosts to 4616 with the stock spire cooler using Thermalright TFX. My little case has excellent case flow as well, so that helped, as does being in the basement.
