Very bad time to be buying a video card, prices are hyper inflated due to shoretages.

GTA5

Is this CPU even on the minimum system requirements list for GTA5?

For an old system like that, a used GTX 750 or 750 ti is the best I could recommend. You really don't want to be investing any money in a system like that but if you must, you can spend less than $50 on a low end card.

I use my 750 ti to play on 1080p low and GTA works fine, though I do have a generation newer advantage in my rig.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

A used GTX 750/750Ti should be a good fit.

It might not be worth going for something too much faster than that, since your CPU might hold it back depending on what you're doing, and I also wouldn't get anything that requires external power (for instance the 750Ti only draws power from the PCIe slot) if the PSU is as old as your other components.

It would have, but the OP could have also listed his full system specs about what he's currently working with, so we don't have to play 20 questions trying to find out what he';s got already (you know, RAM, existing GFX card, OS...for all we know he's got 512MB of RAM, Windows 98 and a SiS GFX card, in which case he has much larger issues)

GTX 1050 used or an GTX 1060 used, both will do what you want :D when GTA V is what you want you can get away with an cheaper 3GB GTX1060.

When feeling lucky a n older 780GTX will do it to.
